BIRD
Janie Price aka Bird was six years old when she first picked up a cello and 11 when she first sat behind the drums, which would eventually lead her to her first gig headlining the legendary Marquee Club in an all girl punk band...
She continued her career as a session musician; Drummed for Haddaway, recorded cello for Sony, Mercury, Universal and many other major labels’ artists. She sang bv’s and lead vocals on live shows as diverse as TGI Friday, National Lottery, Glastonbury, V Festival and Roskilde.
Eventually she wanted to start writing music as well as playing, created her stage persona Bird and released her first album “The Insides” to considerable critical acclaim.
On Bird’s latest album ‘Figments of Our Imagination’ Bird showcases her multi-instrumental skills by playing every recorded instrument herself, part-produced by Rolling Stones Producer, Chris Kimsey and mixed by Lee Groves.
In addition to her own project, she co-writes with other artists. Last year she co-wrote and featured on the second single for Belgium band Hooverphonic. The album went straight in the charts at #1 and her single went top 10 shortly after. She co-wrote and produced on platinum certified artist Aura’s hit album and has worked with numerous international artists including Vanessa Mae, Kenneth Bager, Emeli Sande, Just Jack and Café del Mar.
Bird is currently working on a new album with producer Mike Hedges ( Manic St Preachers/Travis/Cure).

CATCHING CAIRO
Catching Cairo descends from North London, introspective, diverse and an interestingly calming influence on her craft and self described DreameR&B collection.
Being the middle child of seven children, Cairo cites her siblings tastes as creative influences and calls on UK Bass, Reggae, folk elements, story-telling, 60s Motown and Jazz as some of her musical influences.
Before her solo artistry, Catching Cairo began making waves in the dance music circuit songwriting and collaborating with many artists and scoring notable releases on indie labels Rinse, Maison Kitsune, Chase and Status’ label MTA and SHY FX’s Digital Soundboy; Bolstered by the considerable radio support from MistaJam, Annie Mac, Friction, David Rodigan and Beats 1, Capital Xtra, BBC R1, 1Xtra and BBC R6, Catching Cairo has showcased a knack for delivering appealing lyrics and melody.
Catching Cairo conveys a lyrical vulnerability and clarity, a lucid British sultry vocal combined with new-fashioned production.
