TOM PRIOR
A prolific songwriter with a powerful, emotive voice drawing on influences from Hip hop to the Arctic Monkeys. With a zeal and tenacity to engage audiences from a variety of backgrounds, Tom’s journey started out making music in his make shift studio shed. He released his own mix tapes and racked up over 3,000 street sales. Since then he's performed on Radio 1 Live Lounge with Naughty Boy and Little Sims, toured with Krept & Konan supporting Tiny Tempah on his Uk arena tour. He's supported Paloma Faith and performed at Reading and Leeds.
THE LITTLE KICKS
Combining soaring vocal harmonies and infectious guitar hooks with the distinctive warmth of analogue synthesizers, The Little Kicks create an exciting melody-driven sound, as engaging on record as it is live.
Their latest singles "You and Someone Like Me" and "Goodbye Enemies, Hello Friends" have both received regular BBC Scotland airplay, with the former being named Single of the Week on Janice Forsyth's Culture Show.
The Little Kicks' recorded output - particularly their last, Creative Scotland-funded "Put Your Love in Front of Me" - has enjoyed critical acclaim in much of the mainstream press, but it’s in a live setting that the band really thrives.
"Shake Off Your Troubles" is the fourth studio album from The Little Kicks and is released on CD, limited edition 12" vinyl and via all major digital distributors on 3rd March 2017.
"There's an awful lot to like." - NME
“could well be one of the next big indie-pop bands” – Q
“…laced with impeccable pop pedigree” – Clash
“An indie pop triumph.” – Vic Galloway
MKAI
Cian, Conor, Eoghan, & Colm MacSweeny. A band of four brothers from Ireland, made their debut appearance with an explosive performance at Electric Picnic. Their debut EP ‘Waiting’ saw them teaming up with producer Rob Kirwan (Hozier, Bell X1, U2, Depeche Mode) and was released with a sold out show in the Crane Lane Theatre, Cork. Since their formation they have played shows at Hard Working Class Heroes, headlined Guinness Amplify live stages Cork, Electric Picnic, Other Voices, Canadian Music Week, Cork's City Hall and Indiependence Music & Arts Festival and were shortlisted for Glastonbury's Emerging Talent Competition 2016. MKAI are currently working on their debut studio album.
Irish Times "Next Big Thing In Music 2015" listed by Colm O’Sullivan (Today FM)
“Shimmering guitars and fragile vocals underpinned by versatile synths… Chuck massive choruses on top of that, and you’ll understand why MKAI are onto a winner.” - Bristol Live Magazine
“The immaculate production distinguishes ‘Waiting’ as a confident and sophisticated debut. Waiting certainly serves as a strong expression of the band’s abilities …a moment of lip-bitingly satisfying pop perfection. This polished debut provides an excellent showcase for MKAI’s wealth of talent.” - Golden Plec
CILIA HUNCH
Describing their music as „multi-dimensional, metamorphic, future soul“ they manage to merge their influences of Soul, Jazz and Hip Hop into unconventional but cunning arrangements. No sooner do you think you know what’s going on, the music surprisingly changes course and takes you to a completely different place – intriguing, groovy and catchy.
Their first album, due to be released in Autumn 2017, is currently being produced in collaboration with the Powerplay Studios. Describing their music as "multi-dimensional, metamorphic, future soul“ they manage to merge their influences of Soul, Jazz and Hip Hop into unconventional but cunning arrangements.
